Full Automatic Chicken Coop Reverse Polarity Door Gate Opener 7…35VDC 10A LIGHT SENSOR
This device is a fully automatic chicken coop door gate opener with a reverse polarity feature that operates on the wide voltage input 7…35V DC and current up to 10A using a light sensor. It is suitable for controlling small electric doors, such as chicken coops, garages, and gates, but requires a linear actuator motor (not included). The controller has two built-in timers, one for opening and one for closing the door, and each timer can be adjusted from 0 to 25 seconds by reversing the polarity. Additionally, it comes equipped with a light sensor that can automatically open and close the door at sunrise and sunset with adjustable sensitivity. The device has LED indicators that show the direction and status of the timer.

To operate the device, connect the power supply and the linear actuator (maximum 10A). Please follow to the wiring schematic. To set the light sensitivity, rotate the sensitivity trimmer. Then with trimmer TIMER1 set time in seconds for motor activation in forward direction. With trimmer TIMER2 set time in seconds for motor activation in backward direction. When the light sensor receives sunlight, the module supplies voltage to the motor in forward direction for the set timer 1, after which the motor stops. When the light sensor is exposed to darkness, the motor receives reverse voltage and starts in backward direction for the set timer 2 before stopping. This process will repeat until the module is powered off.

Excellent and simple board for DIY automatic chicken coop door controller. I upgraded from thr orginal (version 1) board to save myself from having to wire a few DPDT rocker switches for manual control mode. Much safer this way, basically impossible to wire it wrong. I had an issue with the original controller for our automatic chicken door, so I looked for a replacement and was happy to find this controller. The build quality is excellent, and it uses the highly-regarded Arduino Nano as the processor. I had a little trouble initially getting it to work as expected, but Sinan, the product designer contacted me and, with the help of his engineer, helped me work through the potential causes. We found that the power supply I was using couldn’t supply enough current, since it was only rated for 300mA. I replaced the power supply with a 2A switching supply, and this resolved the issue.
I am very pleased with this controller, and the technical support was outstanding. I highly recommend this controller. I will look for more products from this company to help support them, and I hope you will too.

My chicken door that is no longer available died. Bought this one and installed it into the broken device. Very solid and straight forward.
My only critique is that it is difficult to get the timer pots exactly equal. So I have to adjust the door now and then as it will be to open or not open enough after a couple weeks. If one timer ran the motor open and close it would be awesome.
However, it is minor to me and was a great economical way to get the job done without spending over 100 dollars and a reinstall. Love this device! I can see other uses for it too!
