Enhanced IR Extension Module for Flipper Zero - daZZler

Features & Benefits of daZZler : 16 IR LED

Open Area Distance is : 50M=164Feet

A green LED is mounted on the front side of the printed circuit board, signaling its operation by blinking when transmitting IR signals. This feature allows for convenient visual monitoring of the infrared signal transmission.

Enhanced IR Capabilities: This module significantly boosts the infrared (IR) functionality of your Flipper Zero, equipped with 16 high-intensity IR LEDs to project a focused beam of IR light. The strategic placement of these LEDs, along with an optional lens, optimizes performance for a stronger signal.

Universal Remote Functionality: Transform your Flipper Zero into a versatile universal remote, capable of managing a wide array of devices such as TVs, projectors, audio/visual equipment, air conditioning units, fans, and heaters, offering you control at your fingertips.

Quality Construction: The module boasts a reflective white coating to enhance IR signal reflection, a high-temperature PCB substrate for effective heat dissipation during extended use.

Sleek Design: Its slim profile ensures a flush fit atop the Flipper Zero board, designed to be compatible with 3D printed cases, and does not obstruct the device's form or functionality.

Why Choose This Module Over Flipper Zero’s Built-in IR?

While the built-in IR of the Flipper Zero is necessary for programming new IR signals, this extension module serves as a powerful transmitter, allowing for remote operation without direct line-of-sight to your devices.

While the built-in IR of the Flipper Zero is necessary for programming new IR signals, this extension module serves as a powerful transmitter, allowing for remote operation without direct line-of-sight to your devices. Perfect for enhancing the power beyond the built-in IR's capabilities.

This module only works to transmit signals in the 850nm infrared range. It does not receive signals and does not record signals in the device's memory.

There are two different types of IR LEDs in the market: 940nm IR LEDs and 850nm IR LEDs. Our IR module has been assembled using 940nm IR LEDs.
850nm LEDs will be clearly visible in the camera, while 940nm LEDs will be barely visible in the camera. 940nm wavelength LEDs completely invisible to humans eyes and will provide the best IR signal transmitting covertness

In order module to work Correctly, you need to set the following settings:
1. Go to the "Infrared" menu and select "GPIO setting".
2. Switch "Send signal" to 2(A7) and "Ext Module 5v" to ON.

Q: Why don't the IR LEDs appear to light up when I view them with my naked eye?

A: The infrared LEDs do not emit visible light when observed with the naked eye. Infrared light is not visible or barely visible to the naked eye. To view the infrared light, you will need to use a camera, such as a cell phone camera. Additionally, the LEDs used on the blaster may emit a slight red glow that is visible to the naked eye only in a completely dark room, emphasizing the need for total darkness.

Q:  How to test if a remote control is sending an Infrared (IR) signal.

A: See below link

Q: What about amplifying the IR board via debug mode. I use the Xtreme firmware currently and can't find out how to increase the power.

A:There is no such a function in flipper firmware.
