Arduino based wireless AC dimmer - relay board
This board is intended for wireless light control. It can act as AC dimmer or solid state relay. It has an AC - DC voltage converter with 3.3V, 300mA output and galvanic insulation so no additional power source is required for its operation. The input to ATmega328p is on digital pin 2. Output to triac is on digital pin 10.
Here is the schematic:schematic
NRF24l01+ radio breakout port with CE and CSN pins connected to digital pins 7 and 8 ( you use RF24 radio(7, 8); in Arduino code). There is a 4.7uF capacitor connected across Vin and GND of the port NRF24
Other features
3A, 30V, N-channel MOSFET for regulating external components such as solenoids. The gate is connected to D3 of the ATmega328, and the output is protected with a Schottky diode.
Arduino compatible with Arduino PRO Mini 3.3V @ 8MHz bootlader.
Input: 100 - 240VAC , 47 - 63Hz
Output: 100 - 240VAC, 3A
Sensors ans EEPROM ICs are optional and are not part of this offer.
WARNING! Dangerous voltages are present when connected to the AC line. It is the responsibility of the designer employing this AC-DC converter to ensure adequate safeguards are in place to protect the end user from electrical shock.
Q: How do you actually control this from an MCU like the Arduino?
A:The board itself is an Arduino. Arduino Pro mini, to be exact. You can program it in Arduino IDE.
